When we have the opportunity to speak with a senior who is alone and possibly fearful; we are moved beyond words. To hear a voice tremble and say, "I would love a daily care call because you just never know what may happen when you are old and live alone". The word LOVE comes to mind and yes in all caps. If we can't spread love and kindness then why are we here, what is the meaning of our existence? Keeping it simple, caring about your fellow man, caring about the well-being of others, simply wishing someone a joyful day is sometimes all that's needed to make a difference in a positive way. So along the way today, share yourself for just a moment, smile, give a compliment, listen with an open heart. Along the way this month, donate to a worthy cause of your choice. Along the way never forget that you may be in a position of need and caring someday and as we all should remember that paying it forward does indeed come back around in a profound way.
